1. Hazard Analysis: A Hazard Analysis will be conducted to identify vulnerability to high impact risks. The analysis identifies and evaluates natural, human and technological threats to the Client’s people, property and operations. The analysis is essential to developing an understanding of the risks faced by the organization. Placing risk in the proper context is the key to defining appropriate solutions. The analysis will be provided on a quarterly basis to give the Client good “situational awareness” on emerging issues.
2. Warning Information Notification (WIN) Program: WIN is used to identify and monitor the threats facing the Client. WIN continuously monitors events throughout the world to provide up-to-the-minute information on emergency management related issues. WIN presents useful “situational awareness” to the Client and delivers analysis on a bi-monthly basis. In addition, WIN serves as a research tool to develop custom reports on specific issues unique to the Client’s organization.
3. Site Assessments are detailed analysis of a Client’s physical site: SSS examines elements of the site to identify vulnerabilities to various threats. The vulnerabilities are then addressed through a series of corrective recommendations. Site Assessments will be provided to the Client on a quarterly basis.
4. Special Event Services: The violent protests that surround the WTO meetings clearly illustrate the lesson that any event can be threatened or disrupted by those seeking attention. SSS protects special events by developing and implementing a plan that identifies dangers, establishes triggers for action and develops procedures for responding to situations. SSS then provides on-site support to immediately and discretely resolve any problems that occur during the event. SSS has experience in providing services for events ranging in size of few hundred VIPs to thousands in a public setting.
5. EVE eContingency™: SSS uses a DHS FEMA Responder Knowledge Base listed commercial technology called EVE eCcontingency™. eContingency™ is a hosted Web-based Situation Management Portal System for any public and or private university or college of any size; is aligned with, and supports, NIMS (National Incident Management Center) recommendations for the private sector. EVE eContingency™ complies with the Higher Education Act's Immediate Notification rule (HR 4137) and provides one or many Campus Emergency/Crisis Managers with the tools necessary to plan, manage, train, react, adapt, recover, provide access to, and communicate critical information from a centralized point during single or multiple events; this to preserve and limit the loss of life and property while reducing potential liability for the using institution.
